Received the system three days after ordering. Arrived in good condition, good packaging, encased in shaped protective foam and well protected. Instructions and documentation were clear and simple to understand. Only needed my hacksaw, pvc primer, pvc glue, drill, and screwdriver to install the complete system, which took about an hour and fifteen minutes for me. I added the salt to my pool the day I ordered it, so the system was ready to run when I installed it. Ran it on SuperCL mode for 24 hours, and the chlorine was high in the morning. Run it now at 55% for 8 hours a day and it seems to be keeping up. No leaks, no warning lights, seems like its going to be good.

Very easy to install. Good instructions. I replaced a Jandy Aquapure 1400 that just could not keep up with my 64k gallon pool. This is working very well and I am not having to add any additional chlorine. Dimensions across cell were same as Jandy but screw-collar connections were different. No problem, easy plumbing job. It's nice to see chlorine production in clear cell. Also, should be able to see if plates are getting fouled without taking apart.

I would recommend it
This was recommended to me by half the people on my street and it didn't disappoint. Put it in myself, and the pool has turned into a well-oiled machine that I don't have to mess with.

Working Great!
After about one year of struggling with another brand of chlorine generator, I finally bit the bullet, did my research, and purchased the RJ-60 Plus Salt Chlorine Generator. Water has cleared up beautifully and I haven't had to shock the pool in the heat of the summer since installed. Works beautifully so far!

Q: Is this over kill for a oval 18 x 33 48 inch pool out in direct sun light in south east texas

A: That calculates out to about 16,000 gallons. You could probably go down a size, but a larger salt chlorinator just works less hard and lasts longer in the end, and also allows you clear the water up faster if it does get cloudy after storms or heavy pool use.
