How Much Am I Really Saving?

We get asked this all the time, how much is a saltwater generator really saving? Hearing that you can save as much as 40% or more with a salt pool is great and all, but sometimes it helps to look at real numbers!

Let’s take a look at the RJ45 salt chlorinator. It has the potential to produce as much as 1200 pounds of chlorine over its lifespan. If you purchased the complete system for $1000, compare that to the equivalent 1200 pounds worth of chlorine tablets, it would be $2400 if you got them cheaply on sale! That's huge savings (58% in that case).
