The bypass cap for CircuPool CORE systems makes the winterizing or maintenance quick and convenient if you ever need to remove your salt chlorine generator cell but keep your plumbing sealed. Includes threaded collar, cap, and o-ring to seal the top of the clear cell housing after removing .

Necessary item!
Upon learning I needed to return the control module and t cell to investigate broken pins on the t cell, I had no way of capping the opening in order to allow the pump to still run and allow chlorinating the pool. I was told by the tech at discountsaltpool that the cap was available and I should have been told when I originally purchased the unit. I purchased the cap and once it was delivered, removed the unit and capped it with no issue and was able to send the unit back the same day. Should really be included in package since it now allows me to remove the control unit and t cell when the pool is closed.

Best customer service ever
I love my Core 30 unit, easy to install and works well. Our pool was shut down for a couple weeks due to hurricane IAN. Wanting to save my cell I called for information on how to restart my pool safely. ! The customer support team sent me a winter cap that let me take the Cel out until I got the pool cleaned up so to not to harm the Cel They actually sent the $49 part no charge and I received it via overnight FedEx the next morning . What a awesome thing to do for someone dealing with disaster recovery. Great support from the time I bought my unit directly from them. THANK YOU

A: You would unscrews your control module from the clear housing, remove the control module and cell, and then screw the winter cap into place.
