Very easy to install. Good instructions. I replaced a Jandy Aquapure 1400 that just could not keep up with my 64k gallon pool. This is working very well and I am not having to add any additional chlorine. Dimensions across cell were same as Jandy but screw-collar connections were different. No problem, easy plumbing job. It's nice to see chlorine production in clear cell. Also, should be able to see if plates are getting fouled without taking apart.

WOW! Just WOW!!

This works just like a Dyson vacuum. It spins out most all silt and dirt. After my first vacuum it had one inch or fine silt that would have normally made it to my filter. If your filter is undersized or you are continuously back washing, this will reduce that immediately and turn your system into a Two-filter system. Easy to plumb into the existing piping and totally worth the investment. Buy it now. I can imagine that when these take off, the price will go up.

Pre-filter

I bought this because I live in Arizona and my pool is constantly filling up with dirt. The dirt fills up my DE filter and before you know it the grids are getting crushed from the pressure. This pre-filter was one of the best buys I've ever made for the pool. It pulls out just about all the dirt before it ever gets to the DE Filter. Truly amazing. Make sure if you have a DE Filter to install a bypass line otherwise it will strip out the DE media when you try to recharge the filter. Yep it works that good.

Best of the Best

I am a long time customer of Discount Pool. Bought this pump and it was shipped quickly. Used it less then a month and it has already saved me considerable dollars in electricity. When I first applied power I had to double check to make sure it was turned on because it is so quite. Highly recommend this pump.

Q: Can this all be self-installed? What type of ability is needed to install the individual pieces included, such as the Pump, etc? Do you need to hire an electrician? Where can I find guides to help me review and answer these questions?

A: SV, unlike some brands, there is no warranty penalty if you install these yourself. It certainly depends on your skill level, but at the very least you would need to be able to cut and glue PVC pipe, and connect the pump and salt system to power nearby.
