Optional - For installation directly on equipment pad
Optional support stand for use with TJ-Series Pre-Filters. Pre-filters normally mount in to the plumbing directly above the swimming pool pump's discharge port. However, when desired, pre-filters can be placed down on your equipment pad using this stand for stability. Note: not compatible with Bypass Valve Assembly Kit.

Good quality but...
This looks very well made and it seems like it would be a very stable support base if you put the prefilter on your equipment pad, but I didn't end up using it because I didn't realize I could just install the prefilter inline in the plumbing above my pump! Wish that would have been made clear to me...

Wish I'd known
When I received the TJ-16 today, I began reading the instruction manual only to find that there is a support base for it. It is very heavy. I would not let it be supported by piping alone. If that was shown as an option when I ordered online, I never noticed it.
