Q: do i need any other items to use this cell with my orginal system?

Asked by: Andrew - 5/22/2018
A: Not typically. If everything else is in good working order, this should be a plug and play replacement.

Q: How reliable is this cell in your experience? This would be a replacement for my ecomatic. How long does shipping normally take?

Asked by: Mark - 3/13/2018
A: We have had great customer feedback about this replacement cell, and it has been made to meet or exceed factory specs.

Ship time of course depends on where you are located, but for most people it only takes 2-3 business days.

Q: Who is the manufacturer? Who do I call if I need warranty service?

Asked by: Mike Shire - 9/24/2018
A: As Ecomatic cells are very old and no longer readily available in the US, these are generic cell that we have made - they are not the Ecomatic brand. As is the case for most items we carry, simply call us if you have any questions or concerns - during normal business hours there is usually less than a minute wait time. If there is an issue with the equipment, we can get you connected with the warranty support team so that the cell can be tested and replaced if necessary.

Q: that does not look like the original ecomatic esc 36 salt cell. Is it a generic brand?

Asked by: Cathy Friedman - 3/28/2020
A: Yes, this cell is labeled as generic and is designed to meet or exceed original factory specs. Ecomatic systems are long discontinued in the US, so this is a very popular option.

Asked by: joe - 5/31/2020
A: This cell works on either model, I'm not sure if there is a parts difference in the power center's actual electronics.

Q: I'm looking for a replacement for ECOmatic ESC 16, 240V up to 15,000 gal. I note it is out of stock. Will you be getting more replacement items for this system, or is there something else that will work? I was told I have an issue with the control box as well although it is currently still working. What is recommended? If I haven't given you adequate info please tell me what you need?

Asked by: KC - 8/16/2023
A: This item is only marked for ESC24, ESC36, and ESC48 systems. If the cell needs to be replaced and there is also an issue with the controller, you might consider at that point replacing this older system with a newer model (potentially at a similar cost): https://www.discountsaltpool.com/saltwater-chlorine-generator-systems-for-all-swimming-pools
