The generic Autopilot PPC3 replacement cell is compatible with all Pool Pilot Total Control, Pool Pilot Digital, Soft Touch, and regular Digital Nano chlorine generators. Manufacturer rated for pools up to 50,000 gallons . This salt cell is the replacement for systems previously named Autopilot RC-42, SC-48, and AP-48. Cell and unions only.

Note: Autopilot recommends that the cell connector cord be replaced when the salt cell is replaced, in order to ensure warranty coverage. See related products below.

I did not buy a new tri sensor at same time and sporadically still get the low amp cell message but the cell seems to be working just fine.

The generic Autopilot PPC3 Electrolytic Cell contains built-in titanium electrodes and detachable power supply cord (Note: mfg. recommends cord replacement when replacing cell). The salt cell has threaded connections on the inlet and outlet, which allow quick access for service or replacement
