The Optimum T15 Simple cell is an economical replacement for the T15 and is an aftermarket cell compatible with the full line of salt pool systems from Hayward, such as the Goldline® Aqua Rite®, AquaRite Pro®, AquaLogic®, Pro Logic®, SwimPure Plus®, Mineral Springs®, NatureSoft®, SplashCLEAR®, AquaPlus®, LeverEdge Guardian®, Blue Essence®, H40 systems and more. The Optimum Simple Cell T15 salt cell is a generic replacement cell option designed to easily drop in place and allow you to replace your old OEM Aquarite T-CELL-15 in minutes. This aftermarket cell has 100% guaranteed compatibility. Manufactured by Optimum, the clear cell allows a quick visual inspection to see the chlorine generation, troubleshoot, and check for mineral build-up.

Optimum Pool Technologies is committed to bringing the best technology and customer service for pool parts in the pool industry, bringing the knowledge from over 30 years experience servicing pools into the development of their product line. "Anything Else is Simply Not Optimum."

Replacing the T15 cell will allow your salt chlorine generator to begin chlorinating again if your old Aquarite T-CELL-15 salt cell has been depleted. The Optimum T15 cell sanitizes your swimming pool in an eco-friendly and cost-efficient way, and also helps provide a luxurious swimming experience without the eye irritation and dry skin.

When replacing your Aquarite T-CELL-15 salt cell, take this opportunity to make sure it is sized correctly. Sizing your salt cell properly is key to making sure you will not need to supplement with additional chlorine or shock your pool, and also extends the lifespan of your cell. The industry recommends using a salt cell with a max capacity of 1.5-2 times the actual size of your pool (more is better). The Optimum T15 Simple cell is manufacturer rated for a maximum capacity of 40,000 gallons.

This replacement salt cell fits Aquarite T-CELL-15, W3T-CELL-15, T-CELL-940, GLX-CELL-15, GLX-CELL-15-W and is 100% compatible with original systems (no software/firmware issues). The Optimum T15 simple cell has the same length, threading, and cable connection for easy replacement.

To get the most life out of your salt cell and to keep your pool running without unexpected interruptions, make sure it is sized correctly, maintain correct water balance, and be sure and inspect your cell at least every 3 months for leaks, debris, and calcium scale. Be sure to follow instructions in the product manual and clean the cell as often as the system indicates.

This salt cell is my fourth one and its been over 15 years since I got the system. The prices are so high on the cells so I looked for an alternative. I was told by a manufacturer rep that generic cells like this one were not compatible, but it clearly was not true. My system is working 100% with this cell and all the readings are accurate and compatible with my software on the system showing r1.33

Optimum Simple Cell
This is the 3rd cell I've purchased for different customers over the past 4 years all have fit nicely. I like the fact I can see if the cell has any build up and how the chlorine is being produced. Great product. I highly recommend this product.

Questions From Customers

Q: What is the difference between a repalcement cell for Hayward T15 and this repleacement T 15 cell - apart from price?

Asked by: Roger - 5/5/2017
A: These cells have the same performance, size, fittings, and cord connections. They are just produced by another manufacturer, who also handles the warranty. Additionally, this cell is clear, so you can see it working and inspect it without taking it apart.

Q: Will this cell fit the 66120rc? I see this question has been ask before but not a clear enough yes that I would order it. A yes is what I would prefer.

Asked by: Ernie - 8/8/2019
A: Ernie, this cell is only marked to be compatible with any cell labelled T-15 or T-Cell-15. Upon doing a little research, unfortunately the model you are referring to appears to be an unknown overseas manufacturer and there is a fair chance it will only work with its own labelled products.

Q: Will this work with a 10 year old Haywood gold bond system ? Your web site showed (2) salt generators (Haywood) one with a single year warranty and the swcond one a 3 year ?

Asked by: dennis - 1/30/2020
A: Yes, if you currently have a cell marked "T-Cell-15", than any of the T15 cells on our site will be compatible. There are options with shorter and longer warranties. If you'd like to go over all your options, or even see if it might be a better value to upgrade to something newer than what you have, give us a call at 866-766-5243 and you can get a hold of someone quickly.
