so far so good. Works as it should
This is a very simple unit with no digital read out but does have idiot lights. My pool is only 20,000 gallons but I want the most power I could get.

Q: What causes flashing LED'S for low output mode. How do you fix it, if possible?

A: Are you talking about when you hold the MORE button until the lights flash and scroll? If so and the output LED's are light, this indicates the remaining cell lifespan that the system estimates. For example, if only 20% output is lit in this scenario that means it thinks the cell only has 20% lifespan left.

Q: With large systems 30k or more wouldn’t the 2” be to small? I have return of 2 1/2 “ and 3” would he 2” reduce the flow?

A: All salt systems have at largest 2" unions. Also, make sure you are measuring your pipe size by the inner diameter.

Q: what unit will work the best for 56,000 pool

A: You typically want your chlorine generator's maximum capacity to be 1.5-2x the actual capacity of your pool. So you might want to consider two 60,000 gallon max chlorine generator models. You could alternatively consider one chlorine generator and a powerful ozone generator. The Pentair IntelliChlor controls are built-in to the electrolytic cell. It has LED indicator lights that display low or high measured salt levels, five sanitizer output power levels, and whether the cell requires checking or service. The controls also have a built-in mechanical flow switch that ensure sufficient water flow for chlorine generation. Under low water temperature conditions, the IntelliChlor control's automatic shut-off feature protects the unit and prolongs cell life. In addition to the cell's built-in controls, there is a metal power supply box that is included with the Pentair IntelliChlor which is meant to hang nearby on the wall, with a UL Listed internal transformer which supplies power to the cell through a 15' UL Listed cable. The power supply box gets connected to your pool equipment power source or timer.
The Pentair IntelliChlor electrolytic cell is an inline opaque-plastic housing which contains built-in titanium electrode plates, built-in electronic controls, built-in flow switch, and built-in power supply cord. The IntelliChlor salt cell has threaded connections on the inlet and outlet, which allows quick access for service or winter removal (if applicable). The threaded connections attach to 2" unions which are glued to the existing return-line PVC plumbing.
