Do Not Buy!
We spent so much money on this system and it WILL NOT WORK! We called hayward and they could care less. They just wanted us to buy another one! This thing is a complete LEMON!

Terrible quality
Installed 5 weeks ago and still not working correctly. Techs keep replacing parts, first the circuit board was bad, then the transformer, now who knows. This particular Aqua Rite model seems to have serious quality issues.

Dead and no help
Lasted just over three years and now its dead. I called Hayward for help and waited 45 minutes to talk to someone, and all they did is send me an email two days later telling me to find someone else to service it.

Fixed the issue
Just like the original and it fixed the issue. Wish I didn't have to replace it, though I'd get a longer lifespan.

Q: Is this the AQR 15?

A: This is the AQR power center, which can work with T-CELL-3 (AQR3), T-CELL-9 (AQR9), and T-CELL-15 (AQR15) by changing its "cell type" setting in the diagnostic menu.

Q: we have a gray wire coming out of it that we accidentally cut we need to know how to hook it up and where hooks up to we have a Hayward salt generator a large one

A: On the bottom of a Hayward Aquarite, there should be three wires. The high voltage input power cord, the small thin flow switch wire, and the thick cell cord that plugs into the front of the unit. Which one did you cut?

The Hayward Aqua Rite controls are a steel sheet-metal box with a hinged and latching door (similar to your circuit-breaker panel). It mounts on the wall (or nearby a post or support) by hanging the control box by a few keyholes on basic screws that have been secured in the wall. Inside of the Control Center door, there is a small LCD display screen (similar to a digital watch), which displays the average salinity reading, temperature, cell volts, cell current, chosen percentage chlorine output, instantaneous salinity, and different cell type settings. The controls have a dial that is used to raise and lower chlorine output, and a three-position switch to activate the system, deactivate the system, or activate the super chlorination mode.
Note: The manufacturer does not include a power cord with the Hayward Aqua Rite. The wiring will need to be purchased from a local hardware supply.
