I've owned quite a few these over the years. They all have their little annoyances and if you're reading reviews you're probably trying to decide if the dolphin is better or worse. I would say it's most likely better than whatever yours using now however it's one of those situations where you fix one annoyance and introduce another. What I'm referring to is the cordless aspect. It's pretty awesome to have the cordless, but at the end of the day it also means retrieving, charging and relaunching the vacuum. Where as with my wired version it runs non stop and no need to do any of that, same with a pump driven version. That's the main annoyance with this unit.It does a great job keeping the pool clean and picks up small to medium debris off the bottom. Even the finer stuff that gets through is mostly pushed up to the surface and skimmed. Like I say it does a very good job of keeping the pool clean assuming you're good about retrieving, charging and relaunching. The battery last about 5-6 hours. For a smaller pool this is no issue, but getting into a larger pool you're going to need to recharge this at least once to get the the whole pool clean.It's a great vac, runs a random pattern and gets the pool quite clean, it does a very good job and I'm pretty happy with it. I have been using it most often. It s easy to empty the bin, fairly easy to retrieve and very easy to charge.I used this for a few months so I could really get a good idea of how well it worked and what small annoyances it has. It's still 5 stars for the vac but probably 3 or 4 for the battery depending on the size of your pool it may or may not matter. Would still buy it again!

This robot has been so amazing that I fired my pool guy! I originally got this for maintenance as the pool company would come to clean once a week, however with winds, etc my pool gets a lot of sand in the bottom as well as leaves from plants around the pool. This thing works great, it even scrubs the walls! I have a long distance to my pool from my home so the fact that this is able to be used wirelessly and you only have to plug it in to charge it is what had drawn me to it. I am impressed with how well it cleans, it gets the fine sand sediment, as well as larger leaves. It's easy to empty and clean the filter. I'm impressed with the quality.

I ordered this since our current vacuum wasn't cutting it. That said this arrived on time and as described.Compared to my old cleaner the advantages of this pool cleaner are:- It is cordless, so you don't have to deal with messy cords or power outlets near the pool.- It is light and compact, so it is easy to handle and store.- It has a tracked traction system, so it can grip on all types of pool surfaces and coatings.- It has a top-access filter basket, so you can easily see and remove the debris it collects.Some of the disadvantages of this pool cleaner are:- It has a short battery life, so you have to charge it for 6 hours after every use.- It does not have a removable battery, so you have to take the whole unit out of the water to charge it.- It does not have waterline cleaning, so it cannot clean the dirtiest part of the pool where algae and scum build up.Overall, this is a much better cleaner than my old one and it exceeded our expectations. We are pleased with it and recommend it.

In my opinion this whole vacuum is one of the best I ever had. Not only does it clean effortlesslee, but you can charge it and clean it effortlessly as well. Basically ready to use right out of the box. Absolutely love that it's cordless. Plus super simple to take out of the water with the added hook or clicker. Fantastic value for the money something that's definitely built to last in my opinion.

Pros:1. The biggest pro is no cords!2. Travels up wall of inground pool no problem.3. Does a great job cleaning.4. Comes with a hook to put on end of pole to remove from water.5. Had no issues with it flipping upside down.6. Does not require a booster pump.7. Cleaning was quick and easy.Cons:1. For my size pool I should have gotten the larger one.Overall:This is the best pool cleaning robot I have ever had. Very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.
