CircuPool Vertical Installation Kit. Reduces plumbing space required by 50% and allows for easy installation even in tight spaces. Fits RJ PLUS Series and Universal Series. Allows for easy conversion from Circupool RJ Classic models. Installation kit includes PVC fittings and pre-cut pipes needed for quick assembly for the following configurations: 1) 90 degree elbows on inlet/outlet for standard plumbing with new installations, 2) straight connections that can be glued into existing RJ Classic barrel unions.

Vertical Cell Install

These guys made this easy with this install kit. I didn't have the 16 pipe to install horizontal so they gave me this kit with my purchase. Works perfectly. I first put one leg together and left the cell piece for last. Using this method allowed me to make the correct cut out in the feed pipe. Once I knew the distance this kit would require, I made the cuts and began the install. The only minor challenge I had was with the O-Rings on either end. Got a little tricky keeping them in place as I postioned the Cell for install. But that was only another 5 min of work. Based on what I know now, I can install this in a much less time. I definitely recommend this kit if you don't have sufficient pipe space.

Works Great!

I did not have enough room to install the new cell in my line. This had everything I needed although the instructions could have been clearer..

Great Concept

This would normally get 5 stars given that it allows placement of the cell in a variety of places with limited space, specifically in my case, replacing a puck chlorinator. Not that alone, avoiding a trip to Home Depot was a bonus. Unfortunately, it arrived partially assembled and was out of alignment, so much so, that the lower elbows would not line up with the space vacated by the chlorinator. I made it work, but not without additional, unplanned plumbing work, along with a trip to Home Depot for additional parts. I'd suggest they create a jig to ensure proper assembly/alignment, or avoid the partial assembly completely.

Q: Universal Si40: Will the inlet (cord side) be reversed for vertical installation, the way it is pictured in your example?

A: Great question. With that model (or the RJ model in the picture) the cell can face either way. It does not matter which side is the inlet or outlet.

Q: Is this for 1.5" or 2" pipe?

A: When used with the fittings that come with the saltwater chlorine generator, it can be plumbed into either size piping.

Q: I'm converting from a Zodiac and want to be sure the spacing works. Is the 6 1/2" shown in the picture a center to center measurement or end to end?

A: I believe it is the width of the gap to cut in the plumbing in order to fit the kit in between.

A: It will work either way. Personally I chose to put the flow switch before the cell.

Q: can Circupool vertical be set up horizontally? Have RJ 30; problems with space.

A: Can you use this kit in a way that it orients the cell horizontally? I don't see why not. This system's cell and flow switch work whichever way they are pointed.

A: This kit includes everything pictured except the actual components that belong to the salt chlorinator (the flow switch and the salt cell). It is all plumbing fittings and pipe needed to install the equipment as described.

Q: What is the center to center of the upright pipes without the elbows? I have a compu pool generator with the 4 1/2" center to center and no room to cut the pipes and redo them

A: If you have a CPSC model, this kit will work with your existing fittings as well so that you do not have to replumb.
