Quality salt cell
In my experience they seem to last longer if you clean them quarterly. I use vinegar instead of the harsh muriatic acid. It takes longer but is easier on the metel.

I bought this as a replacement cell. Have for 3 weeks approx and seems to be doing a good job. Old celldid not last as long as it should have, but there was 40% warranty remaining plus a discount which really helped take the pain away. The warranty was suggested by all representatives which was a pleasant releif from the scratching and clawing required by other companies to substantiate a claim. Kudos for that.

When the system works correctly it is almost maintenance free for weeks at a time vs, daily with the chlorine system.

Q: Hi all, can I change my RJ30+ cell into a RJ60+? How much is the price for this? My old system model RJ30+ has the serial #: 05AB0DA4D2020066. Thanks Jens

A: The cell you are asking about is not a RJ+ cell, it is an older RJ-Classic model. If you have a RJ30+ and want to use a RJ60+, you would get the cell linked below. (Note: the cell change mentioned is only possible for RJ+ models, not RJ-Classic models where this reply will appear).

The CircuPool RJ-60 Classic cell is a titanium 10-blade cell that is fitted into a two-port clear plastic plumbing housing. The clear housing has threaded connections on the inlet and outlet, as well as threads around the existing internal cell, which allow for quick removal and replacement on existing plumbing unions.The clear cell makes it possible to see the chlorine generation and to more easily inspect the cell.
