finally no leaks
I replaced dozens of orings and it turns out it was the plastic shell. After replacing, the cell is finally not leaking and seems thicker and more solid than my old one.

Circupool RJ Clear Housing
Description noted improved materials. My original housing formed a leak on the end cap where it’s bonded. The improved housing is a bonded end cap down the center (two halves) and then bonded to the end of housing. Not sure if new design will be any better.

This new one works great! Finally no leaks! I think the other one would have lasted longer if I'd have lubed the connecting nuts when assembling.

Glad it is readily available.
This is the third time I needed to replace this item because it develops cracks in the threaded area of the large nut. I also have trouble installing it without pinching the o-rings although I do use silicone grease on the o-rings.

Q: Will this house a RJ45plus cell ?

A: This clear housing is intended solely for the old RJ Classic series of salt chlorinators.
With the current RJ-Plus series salt cells, the electrode portion is permanently encased in its own casing and the entire unit is replaced. If your current cell is leaking and out of warranty, you will find the replacement cells here: https://www.discountsaltpool.com/circupool-rj-plus-replacement-cells
