Generic Saltwater bypass cell (dummy cell) for the Pentair Intellichlor Series (and iChlor systems only which were retrofit installations that utilized Intellichlor adapters). Allows easy cell removal for repairs, maintenance, and winterizing. This 100% compatible aftermarket PVC part is not manufactured by Pentair.

Well worth the price.
I had purchased this salt cell a year ago. The housing failed so I contacted the company and I still had a year left on the warranty. They sent me a bypass while I sent them the cell. I received it back a week later with a new housing and did not have to replace the entire cell. Great company and employees that work well with their customers. So glad I found them.

A: Yes, this fits IntelliChlor IC20, IC40, IC60 systems - as well as iChlor30 systems which were installed in using a retrofit kit to connect to an IntelliChlor's existing unions.

Q: Is this an original Pentair OEM item, or an after-market knock-off made by someone else?

A: This aftermarket PVC part is not listed as being made by Pentair. A bypass cell is a PVC pipe with threaded unions on the end that allow connection to a salt chlorinator's existing plumbing fittings.

Q: Does the dummy cell come with gaskets? Mine are worn out and the gaskets used for the acid cleaning kit are too big.
