A good chlorinator
Pool was built with a true chlor 35k unit, and for the last two years I had to put chlorine in every week just to hope to keep the water clear. I replaced this last month fairly easily as both units are about the same size. It has easily been able to keep up with the pool and I haven't had to add any extra chlorine yet. Its actual cell inside seems to be almost twice as big, so it kind of makes sense why its doing a the job. I also like that I don't have a big wall unit any more, and I especially liked that I didn't have to do any wiring when putting this new system in. We'll see how it goes once we reach August, but for now I think this has been a very good chlorinator.

Instructions weren't clear to me
Installation was certainly easy. At just 50 % output, the generator keeps my 20,000-gallon pool crystal-clear—no algae at all. The only ding here was when it came to direct-wiring for 240 V. My pad runs 240 V, yet the manual barely explains how to hard-wire the supplied 120 V cord. My wires are black red and green, and the generator's cable has black white and green inside. I followed the schematic and treated the white conductor as the second hot leg. In other words, connect black (hot) to black, white (now hot) to red, and green to ground. I held my breath at start-up not knowing if something was going to blow... but thankfully the system recognized the voltage and powered up smoothly. A clear, step-by-step 240 V section in the manual would have spared that anxious moment.

works like a charm
I have found this salt generator to work exceptionally well in keeping my pool clear. It lets me know whether the salt is high or low and the generator is adjustable so you can reduce or increase the amount of conversion. it's easy to clean the element with a little muriatic acid at the end of the season

Best one I've used
I used to work pools when I was younger and I had my hands on all the different models - sgs breeze, goldine aquarite, intelichlor, aquapure. I have my own pool now that I'm older and from the start it had a jacuzzi / cmp system like the old breeze units. It lasted two years before something in the controller fried, so I wasn't about to put more money into that. I didn't want to pay what the big brands are charging now days and I didn't want chinese junk on amazon. I did some research on what was out there and I quickly settled on this unit. Much better specs for the money and way better technology. Setting it up and using it made it clear that those other salt chlorinators are dinosaurs by comparison.

Extremely good quality for the money
The unit is really well engineered. I was very impressed with the build quality. Modular design makes install and maintenance a breeze. I frankly can't believe that for half the price of a comparable unit at the pool store that this seems like a *significantly* better product. Very pleased.
