The APEX C10 salt cell is an alternative replacement for CompuPool CPSC48 and CPA salt chlorine generators. This APEX C10 salt cell is an aftermarket replacement cell designed for perfect fit so it can easily drop in place and allow you to replace your old CPSC48 cell in minutes. Not made by Compu Pool, this cell is an economical choice to restore your chlorine generator's operation and has 100% guaranteed compatibility.

Replacing your salt cell with the APEX C10 will allow your salt chlorine generator to begin chlorinating again if your old CPSC48 salt cell has been depleted. The APEX C10 cell sanitizes your swimming pool in an eco-friendly and cost-efficient way, and also helps provide a luxurious swimming experience without the eye irritation and dry skin.

When replacing your CPSC48 system's salt cell, take this opportunity to make sure it is sized correctly. Sizing your salt cell properly is key to making sure you will not need to supplement with additional chlorine or shock your pool, and also extends the lifespan of your cell. The industry recommends using a salt cell with a max capacity of 1.5-2 times the actual size of your pool (more is better). The APEX C10 is manufacturer rated for a maximum capacity of 48,000 gallons.

This aftermarket replacement salt cell for the CPSC48 is guaranteed to work with original systems of the same size (no software/firmware issues). The APEX C10 cell has the same length, threading, and cable connection for easy replacement and perfect fit of original part JD363130E.

The APEX C10 Cell is not manufactured, endorsed, or sold by Compu Pool. Neither APEX nor the C10 cell is affiliated with Compu Pool; the use of manufacturer names, product names, part numbers, or such trademarks herein are included for compatibility designations and informational purposes only.

To get the most life out of your salt cell and to keep your pool running without unexpected interruptions, make sure it is sized correctly, maintain correct water balance, and be sure and inspect your cell at least every 3 months for leaks, debris, and calcium scale. Be sure to follow instructions in the product manual and clean the cell as often as the system indicates.

working again
My box on the wall kept giving me the water fault light even though I could see water going through the chamber. It also kept flashing the low salt light. After installing the new electrolitic cell, it is working like it did when brand new!

no housing
So you aren't surprised like I was, what you get is just the part with the plates. If you need the outside , you will need to order it separate. It should be a package.

Q: Can a CSPC48 be compatible to the CSPC36 in other words can I use the CSPC48 to replace an CSPC36?

Asked by: Jerome Davis - 6/21/2023
A: If you originally have a CPSC36, the transformer inside your controller can power either a CPSC36 or a CPSC48. You will need to follow these instructions in order for the controller to send the right amount of power to the new cell:
