The revolutionary Pool Blaster CX-1 by Water Tech is an advanced robotic swimming pool cleaner that scrubs, vacuums, and deep-cleans all pool surfaces - floors, walls, coves and even the waterline! The Pool Blaster CX-1 intelligently cleans your pool without limitations. Thanks to its high-capacity lithium powered battery, it is able to clean residential pools of virtually all sizes, shapes, and materials without the hassle of cord tangles. This automated self-driven robotic cleaner is hassle-free and does not require any cables, hoses, or additional pump equipment.

The Pool Blaster CX-1 can clean most typical residential swimming pools in about one hour! The Pool Blaster CX-1 determines a unique cleaning path to ensure that the entire pool gets scrubbed and vacuumed to remove sand, algae, leaves, dirt, and debris. The Pool Blaster CX-1 features quad scrubbing brushes and a wide 18" cleaning track, and has controls that allow two programmable cleaning cycles (runs everyday on "weekly" mode, or provides immediate heavy cleaning on "1-day" mode) and two cleaning modes (comprehensive "floor and walls" or "floor-only").

The fully rechargeable Li-Ion battery cleans the entire week on a single charge. The CX1 battery has a run time of up to 4 hours on a daily charge or up to 30 minutes a day for 7 days.

    Water Tech Smart Features:
  • Cleaning Path: The Water Tech Pool Blaster CX-1 has a program to sets a unique cleaning path that allows it to fit any residential size, shape, and style of swimming pool.
  • Out of Water: The Water Tech Pool Blaster CX-1 is able to drive itself into the water! During cleaning, the CX-1 is able to detect if its path takes it out of water. Should it detect being out of the water, it can then drive itself back into the water; this is especially useful for beach-entry pools or pools with entry steps. If the CX-1 is out of the swimming pool for too long, it is able to shut itself down to save energy.
  • Upside-Down:The Water Tech Pool Blaster CX-1 is able to detect if it becomes oriented upside-down, and can then reorient itself in order to continue cleaning.

A: The manufacturer rates the battery lifespan not in years (since everyone will use it differently) but in terms of operational cycles which they estimate at 500. As of 2022 the battery replacement was $359 if it needed to be done outside of the warranty.

Q: How do you clean the bag of leaves after it cleans the pool?

A: The bag can be turned inside out to easily dump out the dirt and debris. Any remaining smaller debris can just be rinsed off with a hose.

Q: How do you install this cleaner with the other pool equipment?

A: It doesn't require any installation with your other pool equipment! In fact, you don't even need to worry about the electrical hookup. Just put the robotic cleaner in the pool. There is no cutting and gluing, no wiring, or no booster pump needed.

Q: i work for an amusement park, we have a large, Cement pool used for bumper boats. its Oval, and about 150-200 feet around. The bottom is very bumpy and jagged , im curious to know if the harsh ground would be a problem for this? how well does it run over a bump in the liner ??
