Wish I had one years ago
I literally never checked my pressure gauge until someone explained to me that its like never emptying your vacuum cleaner. My next question was - who has the time to check your filter pressure? My next question was - isn't there a smart version that gives you a notification when you need to give it attention? Apparently that is not a standard thing in the pool industry, and that is where this product comes in. I found it online, but people who listed it didn't really have it except for Discount Salt Pools. Got it in two days, set it up in 5 minutes, now I don't have to try and remember to check my filter or waste any more brain cells on my pool filter for a long time.

Easy and great quality, ingenious
Saw this on sale, got it two days later, and connected it to the app in about 5 minutes - great product! I feel like now I look back and think "how did I never have this"? It's like your tire pressure monitoring on your car, you wouldn't want to rely on manually checking your tires anymore, so why would I manually check my pool filter?

Wifi capability to see if a backwash needs to be completed.
