CircuPool SJ-Series Adapter Kit. Allows easy installation and conversion from Hayward AquaRite, Swimpure Plus, and Pentair IntelliChlor saltwater chlorine generators. Installation kit includes PVC fittings and pre-cut pipes needed for quick assembly; unions are exact length and threading as Hayward and Pentair salt cells, for a trouble-free switch. (Electrolytic Cell not included)

Just what I needed

Allowed me to install the SJ40 in place of the original pentiar system without any cutting.

Switched from Hayward

We had a Hayward with the T-15 cell and this adapter kit switched it to the Circupool. Easier than buying the parts yourself.

Q: Does the electric cell need to be mounted horizontally or can I mount it vertically?

A: For this model, the cell itself does need to be horizontally oriented.

Q: will this work to replace a Jandy aqua pure 1400 with my old plumbing?

A: Unfortunately, the Jandy AquaPure cell size and threaded connections are slightly different.

Q: What is the measurement required for the cut out to fit this into an existing line? I have an older Jandy cell, will this fit?

A: This kit is meant to connect directly to pre-existing unions for Hayward AquaRite and Pentair IntelliChlor salt chlorinators. Unfortunately, Jandy AquaPure salt chlorinators are an odd size and don't match any other system's configuration. You would simply cut out the Jandy cell and plumb in the new salt system (which you wouldn't need this kit for as it is only for retrofit situations).

Q: Will this work when replacing a Polaris autoclear plus system?

A: No, unfortunately the Polaris AutoClear systems have cells of a different length and use different threaded connection. You would just want to cut out your AutoClear, and replumb this cell, which is usually a pretty quick and basic job.

Q: What type of glue do you use to connect the PVC adapters to the clear plastic Cell Housing? I saw to clean it with PVC primer, but what kind of glue for a strong bond needed in poool plumbing?

A: You only need standard PVC cement like the rest of your piping, from any local hardware store. It doesn't require something special.
