Advanced Salt System with Intuitive App Control

I’m really impressed with the CORE CONTROL salt system! It was super easy to set up and install with the CORE Adapter Kit for the Hayward Salt Cell plumbing, and you can manage everything right from your phone with the My-Pool App. This is a powerful salt chlorination system that produces plenty of chlorine each day, and the App is really easy to use. I also like knowing I can expand the system later, which is a nice touch. Very well made and a great warranty as well!

Mostly good things

Overall this thing is a winner. I got the whole deal, chemical control and all. Its doing everything it said as of now. But THAT being said, I used it a whole week without realizing the chemical control part of it wasn't doing anything and that I had to activate it in the app. Why make it so that someone like me has to hit a magic button to make the fancy stuff work? That was frustrating...

Winner

I have had this installed for almost 2 months and its been working flawlessly. The only thing that needed my attention was actually when I got a no flow notification in the app because my son messed with it and didn't put it back in run mode. So this actually saved me tons of heart ache, because my pool wouldn't sat stagnant for two weeks until I finally noticed a problem! I'm on the waitlist for the chemical automation kit and will be putting that in ASAP, and will do the same with the equipment automation. Knowing exactly how my pool system is working from my phone and keeping chlorine and ph automatically in check makes this the absolute winner in pool care.

What my pool has always needed...

I have kids and the last thing I need is to discover that my pool system hasn't been working - and the CircuPool CORE CONTROL 35 has been exactly what I needed. I love that it sends me notifications when anything needs my attention—no more worrying that something’s wrong and I won't notice for weeks. It's shockingly easy to use and really well designed. I’ve been waiting for a system like this for years. Plus customer support is fantastic. I had a question and they were able to pull my system right up remotely and confirm everything was correct. It’s a huge relief to know my pool is being watched over, even when I'm too busy to think about it. I’ll never go back to a pool chlorine generator that can’t do this!

Its ridiculously easy and very well designed. I'll never have another chlorine generator that can't send me notifications of what I need to know - I have been waiting for this for so long. I'm glad to know that the system is never going to brick itself by turning on a warning light and I don't discover it for 2 weeks. My feedback is that I wish it wasn't released in stages - I want more now please. I signed up for the waitlist for the chemical automation and called and talked to someone, who said it may be released as early as May. Fingers crossed. Once I know my chlorine and pH are automatically staying on target, I may literally forget about my pool. So I'm putting it in the day it gets delivered.

A: The CircuPool CORE CONTROL with the optional BALANCE CONTROL Upgrade Kit offers an acid pump option, but will also use Stenner acid pumps.

Q: Will this control the output of a salt cell generator? If so, only Circupool brands?

A: The Balance Control Upgrade Kit upgrades CircuPool CORE-CONTROL35 or CORE-CONTROL55 Electronic Chlorine Generators and controls their output of chlorine in order to maintain the chosen ORP target. ORP, or Oxygen Reduction Potential, is a proxy for the chlorine level in the pool.

Q: What is the winterization procedure for the acid tank and injection sensors?

A: Due to the design of the system, sensors can remain in the chamber as long as they are submerged in pool water if temperatures do not fall below freezing.
Sensors must be protected from freezing temperatures. Like all pool equipment, prevent damage by ensuring that water is not able to freeze and expand inside of the cell housing. Store sensors properly as outlined in the manual.
Exposure to atmospheric conditions will cause the sensor tips to dry out. If sensors are to be removed or stored for one hour or longer, they must be properly stored in their original bottles.
When not installed, keep sensors in their original bottles, making sure that each one is filled with the original storage solution or tap water. If the storage containers have been misplaced, store sensors individually in small glass or plastic containers with tap water covering sensor tips.
With regard to the acid tank, remove the tube inside of the injection pump, then clean, rinse, dry and store.
If undrained and stored outdoors, the tubing should be removed from pump, rinsed out, and stored.
Injectors should be removed, cleaned and stored. The weighted strainer on the tubing located inside the tank should be rinsed and stored dry in a climate controlled room.
Take all normal care with pool chemicals.

IMPORTANT: Always keep pH and ORP sensors submerged in liquid, drying will cause damage. Make sure sensors are not exposed to direct sunlight. Damage to the sensors will void the warranty.

The CircuPool BALANCE CONTROL Upgrade Kit includes a specially-designed replacement cell housing that enables integration of water chemistry monitoring and automation. This upgraded housing features pre-threaded sensor ports and dosing connections for plug-and-play compatibility with additional automation components.
