This item is a replacement cell only for existing APX P40 cells only - not compatible as a replacement for other brand cells. This inner cell must be connected to the electronic controls which have been removed from the existing APX P-Series cell being replaced and have been attached to this new inner cell replacement.

Great service

The housing on my aftermarket cell cracked. Called and they were able to replace the cell only at significantly less than a whole new unit. Easy to attach it to my old computer which worked fine. Always very helpful when I call.

Q: Will this work with my unit model: CFIC GEN40-RC? I don’t know what brand it is but it seems to be an aftermarket model that looks similar to this.

A: No, the APX PERFORMANCE P Series Inner Replacement Cell for the P40, is designed to replace that same portion of the APX PERFORMANCE P-Series Aftermarket Replacement Cell and re-use the original APX PERFORMANCE P Series Control Module.

Q: My wife purchased the APX P40 to replace the Pentair IC40 we had for 5+ years. If I purchase APX PERFORMANCE P-Series Inner Replacement Cell for the P40 and don't need to use it for a few years, will it work like new when i install or degrade over time.

A: There is no reason to think that an APX PERFORMANCE P-Series Inner Replacement Cell will deteriorate in storage, but keep in mind that the warranty is based on the purchase date.

Q: I disconnected cell and my breaker stopped tripping. But how do i know if its this part or the computer that needs replacement?

A: Unfortunately, that's something that can't be determined from your end and we would recommend that you call us at (888) 206-9938 Mon-Thu: 9-4:30 or Fri: 9-3PM Central and a member of our support team will assist you in sending the complete cell - control module and inner cell - in for testing.
