problem fixed
I was so worried that my box was broken and I would have to buy a whole new one. The phone support agent helped me troubleshoot and recommended replacing this part. It worked! The unit turned back on and it seems to be working normally again.

It works
Space is limited, so you need the item. The two dollar part a Granger just wont do.
