Hayward Saltwater Chlorine Generators (Goldline Controls)

Hayward systems and Goldline controls come from Hayward Pool Products, Inc., whose corporate office is in Elizabeth, NJ. Their product line centers around one standard control module, with mulitple electrolytic cells for various size pools. They are often branded “Goldline” saltwater chlorinators by dealers when they are hooked up to Goldline pool controls. There are multiple software versions of control modules, care must be taken not to buy a cell that is incompatible with an existing control module. The Pro series can monitor and control pH and chlorine levels by purchasing additional sensors and equipment. The SwimPure Plus and Blue Essence appear to be market tests, one to arid climates, and one for direct online sales. Hayward saltwater chlorinators also require installation of a separate piece of equipment to monitor water flow (as opposed to having an internal flow sensor).
